QUOTE LIST0

Sourcing process

We work from your part numbers, quantities and delivery requirements, verify what can be supplied through validated channels, and return a single quote. The steps below set out what happens at each stage.

01

Scope the requirement

We begin with the manufacturer part number, quantity, deployment target and required delivery date. Where you have only a description, an assembly drawing or a superseded part number, send that instead and we will identify the current equivalent.

02

Validate the sourcing path

Before quoting, we confirm availability through the manufacturer and its authorized distributors, so that warranty coverage, provenance and lead time are established rather than assumed. If a part cannot be obtained through those channels, we tell you at this stage.

03

Return one quote

You receive a single quote covering the entire requirement rather than a separate response for each line. Where a part is unavailable, or where an alternative would better suit the application, we identify it in the same document.

04

Support repeat buying

Once the initial order is settled, we retain the specification on file so that replenishment and subsequent rollouts can be processed against the same details without rescoping.

What we check before quoting

Channel
Whether the part remains available through the manufacturer or an authorized distributor.
Lifecycle
Whether the part is in production, discontinued, or past its end of servicing updates date.
Lead time
What can ship from available inventory and what must be ordered against a longer schedule.
Warranty
The manufacturer coverage that applies to the part as supplied.
Alternatives
Whether a current production part would meet the same requirement at lower cost or lower risk.

Lead times

Lead time depends on whether a part remains in active distribution or must be sourced from remaining channel inventory. Each quote states the lead time confirmed at the point of quoting rather than a general estimate, and we identify any line where supply is constrained.

The typical lead time shown on a product page is indicative. The lead time stated on your quote is the one that applies to your order.

Repeat and replenishment orders

If you order the same parts on a recurring schedule, send us the previous quote and we will reprice it against current availability. You can also maintain a standing list in the quote request and submit it whenever it needs to be repriced.

Parts that are not in the catalog

The catalog reflects what we list rather than the limit of what we can source. If a part number does not appear, send it to us regardless. This is most common with older parts and with embedded SKUs that were never offered at retail.

Start a request

Send the part numbers and quantities you require, or a description where that is all you have. We respond within one business day.
